The story is thin, the plot holes and annoyances are many. Sam Rockwell is an amazing actor. Here he is just too over the top. While I loved Black Widow's mini story Arc to get her established in the MCU, so much of the other side characters did not pull their weight in this one.
All of Peppers screaming was enough to make me scream and I loved her in the original movie. The story was weak and Mickey Rourke was pretty awful.
Still the fact that I've seen it so many times with my kids is enough to keep it at 3 stars. I never understood why people bagged on this movie so much.
Granted, it's not as good as Iron Man 1, and they changed one of the main characters, but it definitely was for the better Don Cheadle is amazing, and that Howard guy gets more credit than he deserves.
Justin Hammer is excellent, War Machine is perfect, and even Micky Rourke is not bad during the first half.
A big grey bad guy with whips at the end is pretty lame, the whole "new element" story is pretty dry and kinda pointless and the whole let's blast each others blast thing is right out of a cartoon for six-year olds, but still, the last fight scene with Iron Man and War Machine - the "kill box" scene - to this day, is still among my favorite scenes in the whole MCU.
So yes, there are a few kinda lame things, but in my opinion, the good stuff makes up for most of the bad. Total garbage.
So what's my issue? Well, I'll tell you, sheeeeesh. Stop harassing me and hold the hell on you impatient millennial. The sound is my issue.
The only audible sound is the static sound that sounds like you accidentally put your radio on a AM station, stuck on a loop.
So no dialog comes through and no SFX. I've downloaded the film on a few devices with the hope that it was just a matter of uninstalling the movie or restarting the device.
Nope, didn't work. I've so far downloaded the movie on a Kindle Fire HD8, a laptop, cell phone, and a thumb drive Still no sound except for the static noise.
I was lucky enough to still have a Prime account thus making the movie free for me to download. If I had paid for the Amazon digital copy like I have been with the Marvel blockbusters, I'd be mad and would request a refund.
And also request a million dollars for mental health damage. Despite the "cool" factor and outstanding performance by Robert Downey Jr.
Though I do see the good as far outweighing the bad and I will explain in more detail after a fair warning. Also, in this same scene, he was rammed into a wall by a car and could still use his legs.
Following this was Tony being summoned to a trial to have the government take ownership of his suit. Lastly, at the end of the movie when Ivan told him "you lose" and detonated all of the drones Like most Marvel movies I enjoyed watching this entry.

With the world now privy to the true identity of Iron Man it's not long before both good and bad forces have their eye on some of Iron Man's technology and inventions, in particular those that have the potential to be shaped into weapons.
The supporting characters build and develop in the film gotta love Happy and I thought Rourke was a brilliant evil nemesis type for Stark to deal with.
Really well paced, good action, super styled and entertaining throughout. I really liked how Downey portrayed him though I still found his character kind of annoying.
Finally watching all the Iron Man films whilst doing a full run leading up to Thor 3 recently though really changed my mind about the character and Downey really owns the character again in this sequel, like he was born for it.
Had the first and third Iron Man film along with both Avengers films! Brought this to complete the Iron Man trilogy! Iron Man is my third favourite superhero, the second being Batman and the first being Spider-Man!
Robert Downey Jr is doing a fantastic job as Iron Man and he's just being himself, but it works and he does it with a lot of his roles!
Ready for the next sequel, well this one we have the idiot who hasn't learnt from the first iron man, but even with new allies he just loves the punishment, that makes this entertainment more delightful to watch with the action and high flying thrills and spills we can't go wrong.
The story is fantastic and a marvellous cast this is sheer pleasure to sit down and see through forget about a nap there is no time, so I rated this an A grade plus.
Now it's your turn to do something like collect the movie gather up the popcorn get comfortable and relax in your favourite chair with feet up for a fabulous night in with fantastic entertainment.
